General Overview: Main Pool vs. Satellite Pools

At Elara, we provide two distinct types of lending pools: the Main Pool and Satellite Pools. Each pool offers unique benefits tailored to different user needs and strategies, and users can easily switch between them using the tab in the interface.

• Main Pool: The Main Pool is carefully curated by Elara experts to feature elite assets that meet the highest standards of quality and risk management on the Zircuit network. In this pool, users can engage in two-way lending markets, meaning that each asset can be used both as collateral and as a loanable asset. This structure ensures flexibility for both lenders and borrowers, while maintaining a high standard of asset security.

• Satellite Pools: Elara’s Satellite Pools are designed for more specialized markets. These pools enable efficient borrowing of WETH against LST/LRT collateral. Unlike the Main Pool, Satellite Pools are one-way markets, meaning that each pool supports only one collateral asset and one loan asset. This design maximizes capital efficiency while maintaining robust risk management through a risk-isolated structure. Additionally, cross-pool borrowing will soon be introduced, further enhancing user flexibility and capital optimization.
